We are pleased to participate in the national consultative workshop on Costing and Financing of Social and Behavior Change, organized by the Federal Ministry of Health Ethiopia in partnership with Africa CDC. The workshop brings together key stakeholders to explore sustainable financing mechanisms and strengthen the institutionalization of SBC as a core component of Ethiopia’s health system. We are also honored to present findings from our recent Capacity and Needs Assessment of Social and Behavior Change in Ethiopia, contributing evidence to inform strategic investments and strengthen the country’s SBC ecosystem. Data collectors training under the C-PHEM national training assessment

From 𝑢𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 23–25, 2025, we have successfully conducted the First Manuscript Write-Up Workshop in Adama, as part of the third round of the Manuscript Writing and Publication Program. ✍ ✍ The workshop brought together researchers and consultants dedicated to advancing health promotion and social and behavior change (SBC) through evidence-based research. The three-day session focused on reviewing team progress, providing technical guidance, and jointly developing publishable manuscripts that contribute to evidence generation and knowledge sharing in the field. African SBC Summit Watch Party The African SBC summit watch party was prepared by the Ethiopia Health Education and Promotion Professionals Association (EHEPA) and facilitators from the Ethiopia country chapter. The watch party program focused on bringing together SBC practitioners, experts and EHEPA members to attend the virtual As-SBC Summit sessions together and reflect on the ideas and insights shared on the area of SBC to identify Key takeaways that can apply to the in Ethiopia context.
